I’d like to start by saying that this hotel exceeded our expectations! Our Santorini hotel experience did not get off to a good start. We checked into our first hotel and realised it wasn’t for us. The one hotel that I insisted on booking ended up being the worst. We contacted Carmen at Exotik Traveler, also known as my Travel Fairy Godmother and asked if anything was available. Within minutes she emailed us a list of three five-star hotels with availability and we chose the White House Villa Andronis Luxury Suites. After visiting the property, we told Carmen to proceed with the booking and we were on our way!
Arrival at The Andronis Luxury Suites
Carmen organized our luggage pick up and transfer to the Andronis Luxury Suites; hassle free! There was a slight miscommunication with the hotel and our luggage pick up was a little late. A phone call from Carmen is all it took to clear things up and off we went. We arrived at our drop off location and were met by a lovely lady who escorted us to the property.

Check -In Process
They offered us a welcome drink and we completed the check-in process. After the little snafu with our luggage pick up, the brilliant Hotel Manager at Andronis Luxury Suites offered us a complimentary 60-minute couple’s massage. This is a perfect example of great customer service which sets a hotel apart!

White House Villa Andronis
The White House Villa is a dream! The 80 m2 has its own waterfall, an outdoors hot tub and infinity pool with stunning views of the sea and the Caldera of Santorini. The outdoor private dining and butler service options make for a memorable experience in this refined villa.
Room - White House Villa
Master Ensuite – Very large space with equally large walk-in rain shower. There is no tub in this villa which doesn’t bother me since I am not a bath person.
Noise Levels – Very quiet room, removed from the hustle and bustle of Oia’s main road. The air conditioner is also not a bother which males for a good night’s sleep.
Bed – You can enjoy a Tempur-Pedic mattress and equally comfortable pillows.
Closet Space – The closet space is a little lacking, there isn’t much hanging space so most of your clothing needs to remain folded.
WIFI – The WIFI in Santorini is not the best. But with the incredible views you get its probably best if you put your phone down and enjoy the moment.
Water Bottles – These are replenished daily, if you need more they are a phone call away and arrive within minutes.
Slippers and Bathrobe – These are provided for both guests.
Mini-Bar – The mini-bar is well stocked and complimentary in the White House Villa. Loved those little bottles of Moët!
Amenities – Apivita bath products like body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and soap bars are provided. You also get a two individually packaged loofa.
Private Infinity Pool & Hot Tub – This is the highlight of the White House Villa! We aren’t into hot tubs but a nice pool always wins our hearts. The view of the Caldera and Aegean Sea are spectacular! The pool was much too warm (it was a bath) so we asked the hotel to turn off the heat. Make sure to inform the hotel ahead of time so they can set the temperature prior to your arrival.

Breakfast
Room service breakfast was included in our booking. I’m a big fan of not having to make myself presentable for breakfast so room service is always welcomed! There are many breakfast options and our lovely outdoor seating area was the perfect place to enjoy our morning meal.
Breakfast – Rating 8/10
Spa
We had the pleasure of trying the spa as soon as we arrived. Our 60-minute couple’s massage was the perfect start to our stay. The spa is not very big and there aren’t many treatments rooms so be sure to book ahead of time.

Dining at The Andronis Luxury Suites
The Lycabettus, the hotel’s cliffside restaurant, has incredible views of the caldera and Aegean Sea. We began our meal at the restaurant and then requested to have the rest delivered to our room. We didn’t want to miss out on the pool and they had no problem accommodating our request.
Dining at The Andronis Luxury Suites – Rating 8/10
Value For Money
You pay for your own private sanctuary on an otherwise busy island with very little privacy. The villa is a little pricey but I guess you are paying a premium for the location.
Value for Money – Rating 8/10
Concierge Service/Guest Relations
The service was flawless, the staff was very friendly and inviting. We felt at home throughout our stay.
Concierge Service/Guest Relations – Rating 10/10
Overall Experience
The White House Villa is fabulous! If you are looking for privacy, which is difficult to come by in Oia, this is the villa for you. We regret not booking this from the start as we missed out on two nights in this incredible villa. You get to experience the best of Santorini at the White House Villa.
